In response to sustainable practices and indicator trends, TPK Group identified 6 types of important stakeholder relationships based on the five evaluation principles of the ISAE3000 stakeholder negotiation standards (responsibility, influence, attention, multiple perspectives and dependence). By distributing online questionnaires for major stakeholders to fill in, a total of 1,070 questionnaires were collected and the impact scores of major stakeholders on various sustainability issues were obtained. Finally, the Sustainability Committee decided on the major themes for this year after discussing the views of stakeholders and assessing the internal operational impact. It was concluded that seven major themes regarding the environment, society and governance should be disclosed as a priority for that year.

Information Security and Customer Privacy

TPK attaches great importance to information security risk control and protection. It has established "Information Security Management Measures" and follows the international information security management system ISO/IEC 27001 using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. TPK’s Methodology: a) build a multi-layered information security defense, b) regularly perform information security risk assessment operations, c) regularly organize information security professional training and d) continue to strengthen information security management systems and technologies. By continuously investing in information security management and technical resources, information security protection capabilities and information security resilience can be continuously improved, enabling effective prevention beforehand and accelerating contingency measures when information security incidents occur, reducing their impact on the company's finances and business.

In order to strengthen the dominant position in the touch industry, the Company has set up a dedicated unit for intellectual property. It has formulated short, medium and long-term intellectual property policies to focus on operational goals and R&D resources and create company value. The intellectual property management plan includes the patent layout in major countries, the in-depth exploration of patentable targets, the development of important products and technologies covered by patents, the evaluation mechanism of continuous high-quality patent evaluation indicators, and the inventory of patents for effectiveness maintenance, etc., As of December 31, 2023, TPK Group had applied for a total of 4,135 patents, and 3,281 have been approved.
