To strengthen its leading position in the touch panel industry and safeguard the outcomes of its R&D investments, the Company has established a dedicated intellectual property (IP) unit. This unit formulates short-, medium-, and long-term IP strategies that align with operational objectives and R&D resource allocation, and it continuously refines IP management practices to create corporate value. The IP management program encompasses patent portfolio development in key countries, in-depth patentable subject matter mining, ensuring that patents cover major products and technology developments, and ongoing evaluation of patent quality indicators through assessment mechanisms, as well as periodic portfolio reviews to maintain patent validity. These efforts are reinforced through practical implementation measures, including valuation mechanisms, an inventor reward system, IP awareness roadshows, and talent development programs, all aimed at protecting the Company's R&D outcomes and technological leadership. As of December 31, 2025, TPK Group had accumulated 4,286 patent applications and 3,361 granted patents worldwide.

In order to effectively manage and protect TPK’s competitiveness, TPK has established a business confidentiality protection management system since 2014. Under TPK's "Business Confidentiality Protection Policy", there are "Business Confidentiality Protection Management Measures" to standardize various confidentiality management and control operations, and divide personnel responsibilities from the four major stages of risk assessment, establishment and implementation, supervision and inspection, and review and improvement.
